Use The iPad to Code?!?

I love my iPad. I work in a very microsoft centric environment, but to my great delight, macs and apple products are starting to make appearances. My work machine is now a terrific MacBook Air, and my phone is an iPhone. The iPad keeps me company in meetings for note taking and evening email reading.

However, Mark O’Conner takes it to a new level.

Thank you, Brett Terpstra! I was having some trouble with his terrific Marked utility after upgrading to Lion. Every time I tried to open a document in Marked, it would open with 6 or 7 previous docs, and crash when I tried to close them.

After a quick chat with Brett, he let me know he has a fix in the next release, and recommended I try RestoreMeNot.

Great utility! It lets you disable window resolution for individual applications. The window restoration feature is a great enhancement to Lion, but being able to turn it off for individual apps is a great help.

All is well again at this end.

Open In Finder

Here's a quick tip, open the current terminal folder in the finder:

Cade:CrashReporter bestep$ open .

I spend a lot of time on the command line, and this is a great time saver.
